This page is a source for customer IT staff to determine technical requirements for successful use of the Digital Campus product.  The Digital Campus product is hosted out of a Swank Motion Pictures data center so the local technical requirements are really pretty simple.  The Digital Campus product requires Internet access in order to access the Digital Campus site (digitalcampus.swankmp.net).

Content is encoded using an adaptive bitrate technology which makes the Digital Campus product very network bandwidth friendly.  The network bandwidth requirements can be found here:

If your school uses a proxy service (optional) you will find proxy configuration information here:

For DRM Playback, some browsers require Adobe Flash and the Google Widevine Optimizer. Depending on the security settings and your school policies, you may choose to pre-install these requirements on campus owned devices.

Currently for Internet Explorer and Safari the following are required:

Please note that the Google Widevine Optimizer differs by OS and Browser.

For Google Chrome, please ensure that the Widevine Content Decryption Module is installed, enabled, the version number is greater than 0.0.0.0, and that it is always allowed to run as shown in the picture below. You can verify that the Widevine Content Decryption Module is installed and enabled by accessing chrome://plugins in your Chrome Browser.
